My stay at Rubens At The Palace was overall enjoyable, thanks to the fantastic location near Buckingham Palace and the attentive service. However, the room size left something to be desired given the price, and the lack of a minibar was a tad disappointing.

I stayed in the Royal Mews View King room, which was cozy and had a lovely view. Still, I found the room size a bit cramped for my taste, especially after paying for an upgrade.
Service

The staff were incredibly friendly and genuinely caring throughout my stay. They even organized a special birthday surprise for my wife, which made our trip more nice.
Location

The location simply cannot be beat-just a short walk to Buckingham Palace and Victoria Station. It was so convenient for sightseeing, and I appreciated how quiet it was at night.
Dining

Breakfast was a highlight, offering a great selection of tasty items. Although if it had not been included in my package, I would have opted to eat elsewhere due to the high price.
Facilities

The hotel has charming facilities, but I was surprised to find no minibar in my room. Additionally, some minor maintenance issues, like a faulty bulb, could be addressed for a better experience.

6.0/10

I spent some time at Rubens at The Palace and had mixed feelings about my stay. The location was perfect for exploring key attractions like Buckingham Palace, but I found the rooms a bit dated and not as clean as I would have hoped. While the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, I encountered a few hiccups with service, especially in the restaurant. Overall, I appreciated the attempts at luxury, but I expected a bit more for what I paid.

Rooms
6.0
The room felt cramped and was in need of a makeover, with mismatched furniture and a lack of basic amenities like a mini fridge. I found the cleanliness lacking, as I discovered leftover candies under my kids' bed from a previous guest.
Service
8.0
While I had some issues during my stay, I cannot fault the staff's friendliness and willingness to help. They quickly responded to my requests and addressed my concerns, including issues with billing at the restaurant.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was a major plus. It was just a short walk to Buckingham Palace and other attractions, which made getting around London quite convenient.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was included, and while the selection was decent, some items were lukewarm when served. I enjoyed the afternoon tea, especially the freshly served scones and holiday-themed desserts.
Facilities
6.0
There were useful amenities available, but I found some areas needed attention, particularly the bathroom which had slow drainage issues. The complimentary bottled water was a nice touch, though.

7.0/10

My stay at Rubens At The Palace was quite enjoyable, especially with its perfect location near Buckingham Palace and Victoria station, which made it easy to explore the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any request. However, I did have a few issues with my room, such as the view and the noise from the street, which detracted from the overall experience.

Rooms
6.0
While the room was clean and had comfortable beds, I found it to be quite small and not up to my expectations for a luxury hotel. The bathroom layout was a bit awkward, making it challenging to navigate, and the view from my window was not great, overlooking a large air conditioning unit.
Service

The service at the hotel was excellent. From the doormen and concierge to the wait staff, everyone was polite and attentive, which really enhanced my experience. I appreciated that they responded quickly to any issues I raised.

Breakfast was a highlight of my stay, with a wide variety of options that didn't disappoint. The food was fresh and delicious, and I especially enjoyed the generous portions. However, I did find the dining options outside the hotel more appealing in terms of variety.
Facilities

The hotel had all the necessary facilities and services, including room service and a concierge to help with reservations. Everything was well-maintained and clean, which contributed positively to my overall stay.
